MIXED GREENS 
2 lb. greens
1 tsp. salt
2 strips bacon
1/4 tsp. pepper

Wash greens thoroughly. Remove tough stems. Put greens in small amount of boiling water. Add salt and pepper. Dice bacon and fry until brown. Add bacon and fat to greens and simmer about 20 minutes. Remove lid after 15 minutes.
