PINEAPPLE UP SIDE CAKE 
1 pkg. Betty Crocker super moist yellow cake mix
1 can pineapple slices
1 1/2 c. brown (dark) sugar
1 stick butter
12 red cherries (opt.)
1/2 c. walnuts (opt.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend cake mix as directed on box. Melt stick of butter in 13"x9"x2" rectangular pan. Crumble brown sugar all over the butter to almost cover. Place pineapple slices 4 across the 1st row. Then add another 4 slices under the 1st row. In the 3rd row, cut slices in half to fit. Add cherries in the center of each slice and decorate with walnuts all around the pineapple. Pour cake mix right on top. Bake as directed. Cool 10 minutes and invert.
