PLUM SPICE CAKE 
1 c. salad oil
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sm. jars strained baby food plums
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves

Mix oil, sugar and eggs in large bowl. Sift flour, soda and spices; add to oil mixture and beat very well until fluffy. Blend in vanilla and plums. Add nuts, continuing to blend well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake 55 to 60 minutes until tested done. Cool about 10 minutes before removing from pan. Pour glaze over all while cake is still warm.

GLAZE:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
Lemon juice

Add enough lemon juice to sugar to obtain proper consistency.
