BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

This is so hilarious! My father was a big fan of bologna but as a child I disliked it and still do.. So for lunch my mom would make me a "mock chicken" sandwich. So listen up everyone: place two slices of white bread on table and butter one side each slice and 2 slices of mock chicken (no rind to remove) and cover with second slice of bread. Can also be toasted. Serve with chicken noodle soup and dip sandwich in soup one bite at a time. Don't forget the baby dill pickles and a can of diet Pepsi! Voila..the best -almost- bologna sandwich ever!!!!! LOL

The best way to fix a bologna sandwich is to fry the bologna in a lightly greased skillet, add some onions and cook until onions are done. Place a thick slice of velveeta cheese on meat and melt. Place on toasted bagel with mayo and tomato. Eat with chips and an ice cold glass of milk. YUM

Ok, so I am sitting here trying to figure out what to make for supper and all I want now is a bologna sandwich! But it has to be fried with Mayo and Mustard. Anything else is just uncivilized! :)

My siblings and I all LOVE the bologna sandwiches we grew up on. Well, does it have to be on bread to be a sandwich? Because we always use donuts or sweet rolls. Doesn't matter what flavor. Quick and easy when traveling. We never buy donuts without a pkg of beef bologna. I know... Sounds gross, but I dare you to try it. I promise you it is good.

This is an old family recipe that dates way back to about last Friday. 1st you will need fresh white bread. Take the bread out of the package and carefully place two slices on the counter. Next spread one of the slices of bread with yellow mustard. Then spread the other slice with your favorite creamy peanut butter. Add sliced dill pickles to the peanut butter side, then a slice of Kraft American cheese, next add some iceberg lettuce and top with the remaining slice of bread. You will be pleasantly surprised at how good this is. **** variation: be daring and substitute Crunchy Peanut Butter in place of the Creamy peanut butter. And as always, Clean up when done.

Mustard needs to go on one slice of the bread (cover entire surface or you have dry bread), add one slice of thick bologna, season that slice of bologna with a little garlic salt to taste, now cover that with Lays Wavy potato chips , add another thick slice of bologna, season this with a little garlic salt, now spread mustard on entire surface of the second slice of bread, now place it mustard down on top of the second slice of bologna. Now you have a great Bologna Sandwich

A favorite bologna recipe of mine is to take a slice of bologna and cut it into 4 sections. Take each section and place each onto a saltine cracker. Add 3 or 4 drops of hot sauce onto bologna and top with another saltine cracker.

A mighty fine quick snack.

One important step you forgot.. From Pa. Dutch country.. After you make your sandwich, place your hand flat on top of it and mash it down flat... You can eat more that way... Just sayin...

Rick's mother had the exact same recipe that my mother used! My two sons said "It wasn't ham salad." But we know it was! It was the only ham that we could afford!

well out here we do it a wee bit different, we take the bloney, and put it in a hot pan to get it good and hot and also to kill the virus they put on it now, then ya get a loaf of cheap fluffy white bread, head a lettuce, pickles optional, use mayonnaise on both slices, don't over do it on the mayo, then wash lettuce and get rid of excess moisture, put on bread and slap the salami or bloney on there and be careful it is slippery and slides around so eat it now and it is cheap and guten tag.

We would (and still do), "pac-man" ours to keep to bolo flat while frying. Thanks for the great memories, keep it up. Always a great comfort food!

I prefer to quickly burn each side of bologna in a small amount of oil in a skillet. Then do the same as stated in the recipe. Also works on a grill. Good with tomato and lettuce for a different take on a BLT. Bologna here known as Alabama Round.
