MICROWAVE TOFFEE 
1 stick butter (must be butter)
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
Pecans, chopped
Hershey bar (approximately 1-2 bars found at grocery store check out line)

Put butter, sugar, water and salt into micro-safe bowl. Cook on High for 9 minutes or until caramel color. After 9 minutes cook in 30 second intervals until caramel color is achieved.

Spread nuts in 8"x8" pan. Pour mixture on top of nuts. Let cool slightly. Put chocolate bar pieces on top. The heat of the toffee will melt chocolate. Spread chocolate. Put in refrigerator until hard. Break into bite size pieces.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
