POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes (2 lbs.)
1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 stick butter
1/2 c. minced onion
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
9x13 cake pan (ungreased)

Melt butter and mix with hash browns. Add rest of ingredients one at a time. Mix well. Top with crushed potato chips and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Preheat oven.
