Using a deep microwaveable bowl or 2 quart Pyrex pitcher, combine pudding mix and milk as stated on the package. Microwave at 100% for about 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until mixture boils up and thickens. These directions are for the regular pudding mix, not the one that says for the microwave. I have tried both and like the regular kind better. The advantage of doing it this way rather than on top of the range, is that it requires only occasional stirring and there is no problem with the pudding sticking to the bottom of the pot.
