5 MINUTE MICROWAVE PUDDING 
2 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat 1 3/4 cups milk on high until it is hot, 3 or 4 minutes. Mix the remaining 1/4 cup milk with the sugar and cornstarch. Then add the egg and beat with whisk or rotary beater. Stir into hot milk. Cool 1 minute. Stir. Cook 1 minute more until it boils. Beat well. Add vanilla and cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
