SAVORY RYE SNACKS 
1 c. sliced green onion
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can (4 oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1/2 c. chopped ripe olives
1/2 c. chopped pimento-stuffed green olives
1 loaf (1 lb.) cocktail rye bread

In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Spread on bread slices and place on ungreased baking sheets.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until bubbly.

Yields about 4 dozen.

These were a huge hit when I serve them for a council and family get together.
