APPLE KUCHEN (KOOKEN) 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flaked coconut
20 oz. can apple pie filling
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 egg yolks, beat well

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut butter into cake mix. Add coconut and vanilla. Pat into ungreased oblong baking pan 9 x 12 inches or similar. Bake 10 minutes and cool. Mix sugar, pie filling and cinnamon together. Arrange on warm crust, leaving about 1/2 inch from edge clear. Blend sour cream and egg yolks together and drizzle over apples using crisscross design. Bake for 25 minutes or until edges are brown. Do not over bake. Cool and serve warm. Keeps several days in refrigerator.
