2 c. chopped apples
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 c. flour

Put soda in buttermilk. Mix rest of ingredients, except apples. Add apple sand sprinkle top with following: 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour in a 9"x13" pan.
