BLACK BEAN SOUP 
1 lb. black beans
2 tbsp. garlic
2 c. onions
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1/8 tsp. cumin
48 oz. chicken broth

Soak 1 lb. black beans overnight. Saute garlic and onion in 2 tablespoons olive oil, about 7 minutes. Add 1/8 teaspoon cayenne and 1/8 teaspoon cumin; cook 30 seconds. Add rinsed and drained black beans and 48 ounces chicken broth. Cover and simmer 90 minutes.
