OLD - FASHIONED PUMPKIN PIE 
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 unbaked pie shells
3/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. molasses
Whipped topping

Use Gold Label (Brer Rabbit) for lighter flavor, green label for robust flavor.

In large bowl, combine eggs and pumpkin. Add sugar, salt, and spices to mix. Stir in milk. Add molasses; blend. Place pie shells on cookie sheet and pour 1/2 of mix into each shell. Bake on cookie sheet 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted 2 inches from edge comes out clean. Cool. Garnish with whipped topping.
