OYSTERS a la OSAGE 
2 c. oysters (cut if lg.)
1/8 tsp. grated nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese (Jarlsburg)
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. coarsely broken salted soda crackers
2 tbsp. butter

Grease shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Arrange the oysters and their juices in dish. Add nutmeg, salt and pepper. Sprinkle on bacon and cheese, pour the cream over, cover with crackers and dot with butter.

Bake uncovered at 400 F. for 20 minutes. Serves 4.
