2 c. all-purpose flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking soda (level)
1 egg
2/3 c. salad oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. boiling strong coffee

Sift together into large bowl the flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and soda. Add egg, salad oil and buttermilk. Stir all ingredients until well blended. Have the boiling coffee ready. Stir into mixture gently, this will make a thin batter. Place in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan and bake 40 minutes in 350 degree oven.
