STRAWBERRY PARFAIT 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
1 1/4 c. boiling water
2 c. fresh sliced strawberries or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1/2 c. thick cream, whipped
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 qt. vanilla ice cream

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water and let cool to lukewarm. Add strawberries to gelatin and chill until mixture is slightly thickened. In separate bowl beat cream until stiff. Blend in sugar and vanilla. Spoon alternating layers of gelatin, whipped cream, and ice cream into parfait glasses. Top each glass with a whole strawberry.
