CHERRY WALDORF SALAD 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. jello (cherry flavor gelatin)
Dash of salt
2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 c. diced peeled apple or pear
2 sm. bananas, sliced or diced
1/2 c. sliced celery

Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water; add cold water and chill until slightly thickened. Fold in fruits and celery. Spoon into an 8-inch square pan. Chill until firm, 4 hours. Cut into squares; serve on crisp greens if desired. Makes 5 cups or 8-10 servings.
