AMERICAN CHILI 
2 lg. onions, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
2 lbs. ground beef
1/3 c. cooking oil
2 (29 oz.) cans tomatoes, undrained and chopped
2 (29 oz.) cans kidney beans
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
3 tbsp. chili powder

Omit and substitute package chili seasoning if you prefer. Add 1 1/2 to 2 cups uncooked macaroni if you like.

In a large pan or Dutch oven over medium high heat, put cooking oil, chopped onions, and chopped peppers, then cook for 5 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until the meat is browned. Add all other ingredients. Reduce heat and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
