HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
4 med. potatoes
3 bacon slices, crumbled
1 med. onion
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water

Boil potatoes until tender. Set aside. Let cool. Fry bacon slices, set aside. When cool crumble. Chop onion. Cook in leftover bacon grease. When tender add flour, salt, pepper, celery seed and sugar. This mixture will become bubbly. When it does add vinegar, water and crumbled bacon. Stir well. Slice potatoes, put into sauce. Coat potatoes well with the sauce. Serve piping hot!

Serves 4-5.
