ALMOND COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. oil
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
1 c. whole wheat flour
3 1/2 c. white flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. chopped almonds
1 (6 oz.) pkg. almond brickle chips

Combine all the above ingredients. Roll into balls then into sugar. Place on a cookie sheet. Press down with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly toasted.
