BREAD PUDDING II | |
20 eggs 1 1/2 lbs. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 gal. milk, scalded 2 tbsp. vanilla 1 (6/10) crushed pineapple 1 lb. raisins 2 lbs. dry bread Beat eggs slightly. Add sugar and salt. Mix until blended. Add milk, vanilla, pineapple (with juice) and raisins to egg mixture. Mix well. Cut 2 pounds dry bread into cubes. Pour above mixture over bread cubes and let stand about 20 minutes. Bake about 45 minutes in a 325 degree oven until knife inserted in center comes out clean. |
