BREAD PUDDING 
1 qt. milk
2 c. bread cubes
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. raisins
If desired pineapple or apple may be added.

Scald milk, pour over bread and let stand 10 minutes. Beat eggs slightly. Add salt, sugar and vanilla. Put in buttered baking dish. Add milk, bread and melted butter. Stir well. Bake at 350 degrees 1 1/4 hours. Serves 6.
