1 1/2 c. flour or 2 c. cake flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. (1/2 lb.) butter, softened 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 egg yolk, beaten 1 tbsp. milk 1 tbsp. sugar 1 (12 oz.) can prune filling or any filling desired Mix softened cream cheese and butter. Add egg yolks and sugar. Then add flour mixed with baking powder and milk. Wrap dough in wax paper. Chill dough for several hours. Roll about 1/4 inch thick on floured surface. Cut with 3 inch round cutter, make depression with thumb and fill with desired filling. Bake at 400 degrees on UNGREASED cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar. |
