POSOLE 
1 1/2 lbs. pork, cubed
1 onion, chopped
1/4 c. chili powder
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 posole corn
1 tsp. lard or oil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 (4 oz.) can green chile
1 tsp. salt
Hot water

Saute onion and garlic in oil; add pork and brown. Transfer to crock pot or large kettle. Add remaining ingredients and enough water to cover. Cook on low for several hours, adding water as needed.
