MOM'S WHITE BREAD 
2 1/2 c. warm water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. oil
1 pkg. dried yeast
1/3 c. sugar
6 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add salt, sugar, oil and then mix. Add 3 cups flour and stir until dough looks somewhat shiny. Add remaining flour, stirring after each cup. Cover bowl with pastry cloth and let rise until doubled in size. Knead dough on floured cloth or pastry board and shape into 2 loaves.

Put into greased bread tins and let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes or until loaves are golden brown and sound hollow when you tap on the top. Remove from tins immediately and let cool on wire rack.
