LEMON-GLAZED CARROTS 
1 1/2 lbs. med. size carrots
1/4 tsp. salt
Boiling water
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
4 thin slices lemon

Wash carrots and pare. Place in large saucepan with salt and enough boiling water to cover; simmer, covered for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain.

Melt butter in large skillet. Stir in sugar; add lemon slices and carrots. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until carrots are glazed. Makes 6 servings.
