APPLE CRISP 
8 or 9 apples, peeled, sliced thin

Mix together: 3/4 c. brown sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. cinnamon

Spray a 9"x13" pan with Pam. Layer apple and sugar mixture (make 2 layers). Top each layer with thin slices of butter.

CRUST TOPPING:

1 3/4 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter

Cut with pastry knife until knife. Mix in 1 tablespoon of ice water.

Spread on top of apple and press down. Top with sliced almonds. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes then at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender when tested with a fork.
