JEWISH APPLE CAKE 
6 med. apples, cut in sm. pieces
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. orange juice
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil

Set oven at 350 degrees. Mix apples, sugar and cinnamon with spoon; set aside. Then mix flour, salt, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, orange juice, sugar and oil. Grease and flour 13"x9"x2" rectangular pan and then pour batter in. Put apple mixture evenly across top then bake approximately 45 minutes.
