BREAD ROLLS | |
4 pkg. dry yeast 8 to 10 c. flour 2 eggs 2 tsp. salt 1 can evaporated milk 2 c. water 1 c. lard 1 c. sugar Heat milk, water, lard, sugar and salt. Decrease temperature until warm. Beat eggs. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup water. Make well in flour and add liquids. Cover with damp cloth until doubled in size. Punch down. Rise again. Roll and shape into crescent, cloverleaf or whatever type of roll you prefer. Rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. |
