1 c. pumpkin
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda + 1 tsp. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Combine pumpkin, sugar, oil and egg. Stir together flour, cinnamon and salt. Mix all together along with 1 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 1 teaspoon milk. Mix. Add chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoon. Oven at 375 degrees, 10-12 minutes. 3 dozen.
