OATMEAL CRACKERS 
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. oats
1 c. dried milk solid
1/2 c. water
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Cream shortening with sugar. Add oats, dried milk, and water; mix well. Sift flour with baking powder and salt; add to mixture and blend well. Divide into portions and chill. Roll out on floured table, cut and bake at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
