CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 cabbage, shredded
1 bell pepper, chopped fine
1 onion, chopped fine
Salt & pepper
1 tsp. oil
1 can cream of mushroom soup
American style unseasoned bread crumbs
1/4 c. butter

Put the first 3 ingredients in boiler; salt and pepper. Add enough water to steam for 5 minutes; drain. Add 1 teaspoon of oil; put in casserole dish. Add 1 can of mushroom soup and stir gently. On top, put American style unseasoned bread crumbs or stuffing. Melt 1/4 cup butter and put over bread crumbs. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. For last 15 minutes of cooking time, cover.
