HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
1/2 lb. bacon
1/4 c. bacon (drippings)
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. sliced onion
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. salt
5 med. cooked, sliced potatoes
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar

Cook bacon until crisp, drain and crumble, add celery seed and onion to drippings and saute until tender. Combine sugar, flour and seasoning. Stir into drippings, add water and vinegar, stirring until smooth. Bring to a boil and add potatoes and bacon bits. Mix thoroughly.
