BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
CREAM CHEESE MIX:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Mix above ingredients. Beat well. Stir in 1 cup or 6 oz. chocolate chips. Set aside.

CUPCAKE BOTTOM:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix the ingredients of cupcake bottom. Then add:

1/2 c. oil
1 c. water
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Fill baking cup half full with cupcake batter. Top each with 1 heaping teaspoon cheese mix. Sprinkle with a little granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Makes 2 dozen cupcakes.
