LAYERED GARDEN SALAD 
Lettuce
1/2 med. onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 c. frozen peas, thawed on paper towel
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. Miracle Whip
6 slices bacon
1 c. Cheddar cheese
1 med. green pepper, chopped

Chop lettuce fine and layer to 1-inch thickness. Add onion, green pepper, celery and peas layer by layer. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar over top and layer with Miracle Whip. Cover with wrap and refrigerate overnight. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and fried crumbled bacon.
