LAYERED MEXICAN DIP 
2 c. refried beans, regular or spicy
2 avocados, peeled and mashed
1 c. olives, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can mild green chilies, chopped
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. lettuce, shredded
1 c. tomato, chopped
1/4 c. green onions, chopped (include green tops)
1 c. cheese, shredded (Cheddar, Colby, or Monterey Jack are best)

Layer all ingredients in order given, in a glass serving dish, starting with the beans. Serve with extra large warm tortilla chips.
