LAMPLIGHTER CLAM CHOWDER 
1 lb. bacon
1 pkg. (24 oz.) frozen O'Brien potatoes
1 can evaporated milk
3 cans chopped clams with juice

Cook bacon until crisp. Drain off all but 3 tablespoons of the bacon grease. Brown and cook the potatoes in this 3 tablespoons of bacon grease. Add the can of evaporated milk and the 3 cans of chopped clams with juice. Heat thoroughly. Serves 6.
