1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water

Put first 5 ingredients in 8 inch cake pan and level off. Make 3 dents - in first put in oil, in second put in vinegar - in third put in vanilla. Pour water over all. Stir thoroughly with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool and frost in pan. NOTE: Do not grease pan.
