1 pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 (1/2 gal.) vanilla ice cream, softened
1 (8 oz.) can Hershey's chocolate sauce
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed

Mix together the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Put half of mixture on bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Reserve other half. Spoon 1/2 gallon of softened vanilla ice cream on top of cookies. Drizzle the can of chocolate sauce on ice cream. Top with Cool Whip and the remaining Oreo cookies. Freeze until serving.
