SKILLET DINNER 
4 pork chops
1 cabbage head
1 can sliced carrots
4 potatoes
1 lg. onion
2 tbsp. shortening

In electric skillet combine pork chops, onion sliced, cabbage head cut in quarters, potatoes cut in half, and can of sliced carrots. Put 2 tablespoons of shortening and a half cup of water. Let simmer about 45 minutes, on low heat. Check for doneness. Also check during simmering for tenderness. Serves 4. Season to taste.
