OVEN CRISP CHICKEN | |
2 broiler fryers (about 2 lbs. each), cut up 1 env. (2 packets) onion dip mix or onion soup mix 2 c. soft bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper Remove skin from chicken (if desired). Combine dip mix, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper in a shaker bag. Shake chicken pieces a few at a time in mixture to coat well. Chicken must be wet. Place, not touching, in a single layer in 2 well buttered shallow baking pans. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for one hour or until chicken is tender and golden brown. Do not turn. Makes 8 servings. |
