ALL BRAN MUFFIN MIX 
1 1/2 c. less 1 tbsp. white sugar
1/2 c. + 2 tbsp. vegetable shortening
2 c. Kellogg All Bran
1 c. Nabisco 100% All Bran
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. all purpose flour
2 c. buttermilk

Pour boiling water over 100% Bran; set aside.

Cream sugar and shortening. Add well beaten eggs to sugar and shortening mixture. Add Kellogg Bran. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add to above alternately with milk. Fold in Nabisco Bran. Bake in greased and floured muffin tins 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Keeps in refrigerator six weeks.
