MUSTARD BEANS | |
2 tbsp. prepared mustard 1/3 c. butter 3 c. hot cooked green beans 2 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. vinegar Heat slowly, stirring constantly the mustard, sugar, butter and salt. Add lemon juice and vinegar. Pour over hot green beans, serve immediately. Nice with baked ham. Variation: Omit lemon juice, increase vinegar to 4 tablespoons. |
