MANHATTAN MEATBALLS | |
1 lb. ground pork 1 lb. ground beef 2 c. bread crumbs 2 eggs 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 2 tsp. salt 1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves 3/4 c. bottled barbecue sauce Combine pork, beef, bread crumbs, onion, parsley and salt. Mix well, shape into 1 1/2 inch meatballs. Place meatballs on a broiler pan and broil until brown turning once. Transfer meatballs to a 2 quart casserole. Combine preserves and barbecue sauce pour over meat. Bake covered 30 minutes at 350 degrees stirring occasionally. |
