CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD 
1 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. mashed ripe banana (about 2 med.)
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Combine flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large mixing bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add bananas and eggs. Stir with fork just until blended.

Spread evenly into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 2 3/4 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 50 to 55 minutes or until cake is done. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
