CALIFORNIA SKILLET
1 tbsp. salad oil
1/2 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. chili powder
2 c. water
1 can condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 can whole kernel corn, undrained
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. elbow macaroni, uncooked

In large skillet heat oil. Add beef or turkey and onions; cook until meat loses its pink color. Stir in chili powder. Add remaining ingredients except olives and shredded cheese. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in olives, sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook just until cheese melts. Makes 4 servings, about 590 calories each with beef, 510 calories each with turkey.
