FRIED RICE | |
2 tbsp. peanut oil 1/3 c. thinly sliced green onion 2 eggs, lightly beaten 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. sugar 1/3 lb. finely diced, cooked ham or sausage 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 c. cold, cooked rice 1/2 tsp. sesame oil (optional) Heat peanut oil in uncovered skillet or wok at 325 degrees. Add onions and stir-fry 1 minute. Add eggs and scramble loosely. Add all other ingredients, except the rice and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add rice; stir-fry 30 seconds. Add sesame oil; stir and serve immediately. |
