8-9 potatoes 1/2 lb. sharp cheese 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 pt. whipping cream 1 c. milk 3-4 dashes nutmeg Dash of pepper Boil potatoes, cool and peel. Grate like seeds and put in buttered casserole. Heat the following: sharp cheese, dry mustard, salt and whipping cream (don't whip), 1 cup milk and dash of pepper. Pour over grated potatoes and sprinkle top with paprika. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. May store in refrigerator for 24 hours before heating. Serves 8 to 10. |
