PEPPERED BEEF 
1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. oil
Dash garlic salt
1 can beef gravy
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 c. chopped peppers
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water
2 chopped tomatoes or 1 sm. can with juice

Brown round steak, cut into small pieces, in oil. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and beef gravy.

Mix cornstarch with soy sauce and water; stir into meat mixture. Add chopped peppers and tomatoes. Cook slowly until tender. Serve over chow mein noodles.
