MISSISSIPPI MUD 
2 c. flour
1 stick butter
1 c. chopped walnuts or almonds
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 (3 oz.) pkg. instant pudding (chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, etc.)
3 c. milk

FIRST LAYER: Mix flour, butter and walnuts or almonds and press into 9x11 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

SECOND LAYER: Beat cream cheese, sugar and half of Cool Whip. Then spread on cooled crust.

THIRD LAYER: Make pudding with milk and spread on top.

FOURTH LAYER: Spread on rest of Cool Whip. Then sprinkle with walnuts or almonds (optional).
